Welcome to the Charleston Foreign Affairs Forum

The Charleston Foreign Affairs Forum was founded in the early 1980s and meets at least six times each year. The Forum's Mission is to educate and inform, fostering a broad knowledge of world affairs and international events in an expanding global economy.

The Forum hosts six speaking events each year. The events feature prominent speakers from the U.S. and foreign governments, academia, and business. The speakers present timely lectures on international events affecting our lives. A reception precedes the speaker's presentation and a lively interchange between speaker and audience takes place afterward.

The Charleston Foreign Affairs Forum, a member of the World Affairs Councils of America, is made up of a diverse group of people from across the political spectrum. We are a non-partisan, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
